Control examination with adjustment of ventilation parameters is performed in order to check the effectiveness of the previous adjustment and adjust the ventilation parameters in accordance with the current condition of the patient. This examination allows monitoring of progress or changes in respiratory function, as well as possible corrections in therapy to ensure optimal ventilation.

The patient is placed in the appropriate position, while checking all previous parameters and findings from previous examinations. Ventilator parameters are then controlled, including respiratory rate, pressure, volume and fractional inspiratory/expiratory flow, in relation to the patient's current condition. Based on the patient's current vital signs and previous settings, ventilation parameters are modified if necessary. After that, monitoring of the patient's responses to ventilation continues, with possible corrections if the patient's condition changes.

The control examination lasts from 15 to 25 minutes, depending on the patient's condition and the necessary adjustments.
