Acupuncture treatment is a traditional Chinese therapy that uses the insertion of fine needles into specific points on the body, which are connected to energy meridians. This treatment aims to stimulate the body's natural ability to heal, improve the flow of energy (qi) and balance the body. Acupuncture is used to treat various conditions, such as pain, stress, insomnia, indigestion and many other ailments. Apart from the physical, acupuncture is also used to improve mental and emotional health.

Acupuncture treatment begins with a diagnosis by a qualified therapist who determines which points should be stimulated, based on the patient's symptoms and general condition. After the patient relaxes, the therapist carefully places thin needles on precisely defined points on the body, which can be on the arms, legs, back, abdomen or face. The needle is left in place for 15 to 30 minutes, and in some cases it can be further stimulated by gently moving the needles or with an electric current. Acupuncture points are specific to each person, and therapists use an individual approach to achieve the best results.

An acupuncture treatment usually lasts between 30 and 60 minutes per session. The number of treatments depends on the condition of the patient and the nature of the problem being treated. Typically, acute complaints require 5 to 10 sessions, while chronic or long-term problems may take longer. Sessions can be repeated several times a week, and therapists often monitor progress and adjust the treatment plan depending on the body's response to therapy.
