A specialist examination is intended for individuals experiencing color changes in the fingers due to cold exposure (white, blue, or red fingers), tingling, pain, or a sensation of cold in the hands.
Raynaud’s phenomenon can be primary (without associated disease) or secondary, occurring as part of autoimmune conditions such as systemic sclerosis or lupus.
The goal of the examination is to distinguish the benign form from the form that requires further evaluation and treatment.
